Great Sanremo experience

Fabulous old school great hotel. It is timeless and although a little tired - the atmosphere is kind gentle and of a past eta. The room was large and there was a bath! Staff extremely pleasant. Bar like out of an old movie

Fare price for provided quality and service.

The location was excellent. Close to the sea and the city centre. Very helpful and nice staff. Lots of greenery around.

No kettle in the room. So if you want to get some hot water you have to ask the staff all the time. The hotel is like a museum. Beautiful, but old and requires renovation.

We chose the hotel for it's history and great location. Didn't disappoint, needs renovation badly.

cleanliness of bed sheets was ok. It has a great potential a and infrastructure, location, size of rooms, view, garden, size of rooms and bathroom - overall you can sense that it was one of the most luxurious accommodation in it's time. This you can still feel despite of all the bad renovation and lack of money spent on updating the rooms. We liked the idea that it was a luxurious hotel in it's time and it was good to experience how rich people spent their holidays in the last century. It is literally like a time-travel.

Breakfast was not so great, quality and choice can be improved. Room should be renovated / updated in general. Air-conditioning was loud and smelly (but it exists), laminate flooring is poorly installed (over the old and dirty carpets).

very warm in winter and very cozy. The parquet floor creaks a little and it's romantic. yes, the renovation is a little old, but I liked it, everything is very beautiful and expensive. there is everything you need. That's more for the price than we expected. after the cold marble rooms it was happiness. I would recommend adding more choice to breakfast.

Felt Like A King Staying At The Grand Hotel Londra

I really like the grand feel of this hotel. The opulent lobby and breakfast rooms are so impressive. I like the size of my room with an ocean view and a huge bathroom with tub and shower. The location was excellent across the street from nice sandy beaches and beach restaurants. As well, the old town was only a 10 minute walk away. The views from my room were beautiful with the blue of the sea. I loved the large swimming pool with lush plants and a convenient bar. Overall, it was a very San Remo experience.

The main issue of the Grand Londra is that it is somewhat dated. It was build in the 1800s so that was to be expected but it's charm makes up for it's age. The other issue was the limited sunbeds available and the fact that you were charged 7 euros to use them. I would also say that some of the staff are jaded and were not the friendliest when dealing with them. The front counter people were slow to respond and did the minimum to help. At the pool I was approached by a worker saying I had to pay for the sunbed even though I had just arrived and the pool was closing in 20 minutes. A little common sense would have been appreciated especially as i was already paying over $350 a night for my room. Generally, I would stay here again as it is one of the better value hotels with a pool in San Remo.

Wonderful

Great location,beachfront and just 15mins walk to the center. The staffs are all nice especially Elena. The breakfast is good,with lot of choices. The room is very clean. We had a great stay!

There is no power socket on the other side of the bed,we use the one inside the bathroom

Stayed before, love the hotel and pool. Andrè in reception was incredibly helpful as was Ricardo in the pool bar

They need to sort out the lighting in the restaurant by the pool in the evening, hideously bright, awful
